a day like today at 10:00am one of the closest friend that you could ever ask for has deceased from this world to go on a more peaceful one. after 11.5 years peluche has been like a family member to the Durán Veras family.

so 20 days to go since lent started so i could be able to check facebook again. i can’t wait to see what did i missed all this time!!!
28 more days to go until i go and be able to check facebook again. i honestly haven’t checked it since my original post “Giving up Facebook For Lent.” the only thing that i’ve been doing is update my status 
with my countdown. hopefully i have not missed anything important. hahahaha… what would that be?!
i just read this article/story (Music That Makes You Dumb?)of the music type that makes you dumb. i honestly think that depending on you knowledge that is the type of music that you will be listening to. of course that this is nor proven scientific but it is just a start.
Jesus sacrificed hisself for 40 days and 40 nights in the desert (at least that is what the bible says). so i am planning to do the same thing but jsut with facebook. starting today i will not access my facebook for 40 days and 40 nights. the only thing that i will be capable of is updating my status and facebook chat. besides that i will not access my account for nothing else for that time frame.
and guess what!!! i will NOT cheat.
wish me good luck, because i know when ever i come back i will have like thousands of new app requests and probably some “friends” trying to be my friends.
i just got done watching a awesome documentary/movie called “Rumbo A Las Grandes Ligas.” it is based on the true story that every dominican has to go by in order for them to be on the major leagues. every dominican dreams about being on the major leagues but only few are chosen to play in such a place. after the usa, dominican republic is the second place in the world that has more player playing in the major leagues.
baseball it is not just “un deporte” for these guys… is a business. they play it because they love it and because they see a chance for them and their family to get out of debt. i think that this is a “‘must watch” movie if you are open minded and you want to learn more about my culture on how we come from the bottom with nothing trying to make a live. even though i did not experience a lot of these events… my family does. so do not try to come to me saying that you do not feel sorry for me, becuase i have family that i have to help as well.

so since my computer broke down i haven’t been able to extract my personals files from a zip folder. the file itself is 30gb and it didn’t feel like comming out. but guess what!? today it did 
finally i got all my files back and i am up and running.
so after i started my master i have been taking classes after classes. so far i’ve accomulated 12 credits so 18 more to go 
. i hope that one day i will make it . now i am looking forward to my break which is next week and i can’t wait any more for it , i finally going to get to rest for couple of weeks.
