Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) – Help Mozilla stop Internet Censorship Legislation

In case that you were not aware.  A new law will be passed in the senate as early as January 24th.  What this would mean is that what we know of the Internet could change by controlling our freedom to express our selves and it could bring websites like Facebook to track what we post, etc.

Jetman Record

Jetman Recordso i haven’t played jetman for a while and now i tried to break my old record of 2,707 from november 30, 2007.  i finally broke it today with 3,571 and it froze on my so my record is not recorded.  :( .

I know now why Facebook was so slow…

so i just found out why FACEBOOK was so slow today.  it was becasue some hacker(s) hacked the popular micro-blogging web site called twitter at twitter.com.  twitter had a denial of service about 8 hours ago which it was making facebook really slow because hackers had thousands of computer tweeting at the same time.  well, that is what i’ve heard so far, things might change ;) .

Facebook under construction today?

i really don’t know how many of you have been accessing facebook today ,but it is freaking slow.  every time i try to do something i receive the following message “Something went wrong. We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can. You may be able to try again.” from facebook.  i think that they are really making some changes because when you go to see friend request you will be able to see the recommended one(s) as well.

are you helping the facebook casue?

one day navigating trough facebook i wanted to take a look at their stats, and i am really shock with what i saw.  well, not shocked-shocked, but some how shocked. from the user point of view we spent “More than 5 billion minutes are spent on Facebook each day (worldwide).”  holly molly!!! we don’t have nothing else to do?  anyways, if you would like to take a look at the stats here is the link facebook statistics.

28 more days to go until i go and be able to check facebook again.  i honestly haven’t checked it since my original post “Giving up Facebook For Lent.”  the only thing that i’ve been doing is update my status ;) with my countdown.  hopefully i have not missed anything important. hahahaha… what would that be?!

Nimbuzz – Free international mobile call chat messaging with skype, msn & yahoo messenger, Icq

if you own a blackberry like me (in my current case pearl 8130) and you wish to be able to use skype and facebook chat then nimbuzz is your solution.  there are all messaging apps available for msn, aol, yahoo, google and others.  but you will not find an application for skype or facebook chat.  skype is still under current development of the skype mobile client and facebook chat is mmmmmnnnnnnnnnnnnn, i don’t know.  i don’t think that they will develop an application for facebook chat at the time, plus there are no rumors.

so why am i writing this to inform you something that you would probably already know, well because there is a mobile app for free that will be able to use skype and facebook chat at the same time plus other instant messaging clients.  the program is call nimbuzz and you could go and visit their site (link below) in order to find more information about them and download their program in order to be able to use skype and facebook chat.

hopefully you will enjoy as much as i do. i absolutely love it.

Giving up Facebook for Lent

Jesus sacrificed hisself  for 40 days and 40 nights in the desert (at least that is what the bible says).  so i am planning to do the same thing but jsut with facebook.  starting today i will not access my facebook for 40 days and 40 nights.  the only thing that i will be capable of is updating my status and facebook chat.  besides that i will not access my account for nothing else for that time frame.

and guess what!!! i will NOT cheat.

wish me good luck, because i know when ever i come back i will have like thousands of new app requests and probably some “friends” trying to be my friends.
